Ships' masts have always held a sort of fascination for me. I don't know what it is about them. Maybe it's the visions I get of Johnny Depp in "Pirates of the Caribbean", or maybe it's just the dream I have of floating away to worlds unknown. Of course, the idea of pirates swinging from the ropes and singing "Yo ho, Yo ho, a pirate's life for me" is kind of appealing as well.
